Experience/ About Me

I am the owner at Oh Yeah Pet Care and the main provider of our services, you may see me out walking dogs everyday throughout the HU5 area. I love to care, play and enrich your pets and I love to photograph them too! 

I team up/subcontract with other members of the local Dog/Pet Care Community throughout Hull to provide some of our services. In the event I'm unavaible this great community group responds if they can carry out the job on my behalf.

Animals and pets have always enriched my life, it brings me so much joy to be able to offer the experience I have gained as a service to others. 

 I spent my teens on a small holding in South Dalton, a sleepy village situated approximately 8 miles outside of Beverley. They have a fantastic not to be missed eatery- The Pipe & Glass. The food served is both great classical bar menu & Michelin star within in the restaurant.

Although they do not allow dogs within the Pipe and Glass, they do however welcome dogs at the picnic benches at the front of the pub. After a spot of food or a classic pint and packet of crisps you can take a walk with your dog/s through the Dalton Estate or a short walk to see st Mary's Victorian church. it's steeple stands a huge 208 feet tall, you can see it from miles around, leading up to the church are a row of beautiful Victorian almshouses, a notably idyllic scene.

I feel gratitude and warmth when I and your pet bond, and I take great pleasure in providing love, care and affection to them

When walking your dogs there will always be accredited canine first aider at Oh Yeah Pet Care, with experience in looking after pets needing medication, your pets are always in safe hands.  

Let us give your pet the daily exercise or enrichment they need. We can provide dog walking when you are unable to, or provide a pet pop-in service for when you are away for the weekend or holidays. one of our services consists of an early morning until mid morning group adventure dog walk out at a secure dog field in south cave.

Meet & Greet - How it works...

 

At Oh Yeah Pet Care we feel It’s important to talk about their quirks, likes, and dislikes up front so we can best match them up with other dogs for example or we know to avoid certain triggers your pet may have.

 

Meeting before booking is key to finding a good match. At Oh Yeah Pet Care we are dedicated to providing you the service best matched for your pet!

 

Our meet and greet consists of meeting you and your pet/s to see if our services are a fit for what you would like, here we will discuss various topics about your wants & your pets needs. We will go over any questions you may have, if you feel happy we can move onto the next stage of booking your pet in via our app, just remember you’re under no obligation to book with us at the meet and greet stage. You can take as long as you need to think about your pets needs, if you feel we are a match... then that's great! 

Finding the right fit can take time—and that’s okay. Here at Oh Yeah Pet Care we feel it's best to be honest about your needs. Some of the topics we will discuss with you are highlighted below.

 

Unique quirks and habits

  • What’s their favorite toy or game?
  • Does the pet get worried or anxious when left alone?
  • Are they protective of their toys, food or environment?
  • Is the pet an escape artist?
  • Does the pet tend to steal food off tables and counters?

Behavior with new people and other pets

  • Does the pet like other animals? Dogs? Cats?
  • Is the pet okay around children?

Training 

  • Is the pet recall trained?
  • Do they have occasional accidents when excited or nervous?
  • Do they sometimes act differently in new spaces or with new people?

Medications and allergies

  • If the pet takes medications: what kind and when is it administered?
  • Does the pet have any allergies?

Health history

  • Does the pet have any health issues to keep in mind?
